After Midnight Sun comes Morning Dew

Lilly slowed to a walk, they were back at the springs. She smiled at Dew and flicked her tail, it was shinning, same as her caot, she was a very beautiful horse.

dew noticed how the sun glinted of Lilly's coat. He blinked and resisted the urge to reach out and nuzzle her.

Lilly looked at Dew, her head to the side. "What?" She asked softly.

Dew raked his brian for an excuse, 'Are you hurt?' Was what he said.

Lilly laughed softly, she circled Dew. "Of course not" She smiled and circled his softly




BRUMBY!!! SLAPS

'Well thats good.' Dew said, his eyes never leaving Lilly's.

Oink, snuffle snuffle, Snort! That Hurt!

Lilly laughed. She nuzzled Dew. "Now, where has your brother gone" she said.

Lilly smiled. "So, I guess I better be off now"
She circled Dew, very slowly.

Dew looked at her squarly. 'You should stay for a while.' He smiled. 'Come take a walk with me.' He suggested.

Sun was talking to their mother and Dingle in the forest.

Lilly smiled. "I guess I can" She followed Dew. Lilly leaned over and nuzzled him.

Dew nuzzled Lilly back and walked towards the towering trees of the forest.

Maralyn was thanking Sun when she saw Dew, Suns twin walking away with a pretty little filly. she smiled and trotted towards the herd.

Lilly snorted and looked around. She could hear another horse approaching. Lilly neighed and flattened her ears, she knew this horse.
Zanzibar galloped up the hill, he reared and there he saw Lilly with another stallion. He snorted and galloped up to Lilly, his intentions clear after she left the herd, he wanted her back. His black coat shone as he moved with great speed.

Maralyn watched as a stallion interupted the herd she whinnied and ran infront of him, she didn't like his aditude.

Sun watched Maralyn try to boss a new stallion so he trotted over to see what the problem was.

Dew glared at the stallion with his ears back and teeth bared.

Sandspit screamed in excitment.

Dingle and Dangle trotted briskly over to were the stallion was. No one messed with ANYONE Dingle knew.

Lilly neighed. "Dew, stay here, all of you stay here" Lilly galloped up to Zanzibar. "What do you want?" She pinned her ears back.
Zanzibar looked at Lilly. "You are coming back, now" He said,

Dew followed.

Dingle neighed at the black stallion and snorted, he had his neck arched and was prancing on the spot. He resisted the urge to fight the other stallion, although he was close enough.

Lilly shot him a warning glance, Zanzibar was 10, he was stronger and more experienced than the other stallions here. She snorted and reared. "You wish" She said. "Sorry, but no." She turned and walked off
Zanzibar cut her off. "You don't have a choice here"

That was it, Dingle screamed and reared above Zanzibar, his hooves colliding with the black stallions shoulder. He landed and bit hard into the stallions wither.

Dew screamed aswell and turned his hindquarters around and kicked a powerful blow that struck Zanzibar's chest with much force.

Zanzibar kicked out and reared over Dew, he was bigger. Blood ran down his shoulder. Lilly screamed and rammed Dew out of the way, Zanzibars front hooves hit Lilly in the shoulders, ripping a bit of flesh open. Lilly reared and took off towards the cliff. She neighed out for Dew to not follow, but she knew Zanzibar would. Zanzibar powered after Lilly his coat stained with blood. Lilly galloped over the plains with amazing speed, ahead lay the cliff, not too far down was a river, not too far for a horse to live the fall, and the water was deep enough to not hit the bottom. Lilly knew what she was going to do. Zanzibar followed, he wondered what Lilly was doing coming out here.

Gosh I havent been on in ages guys sorry. I'm going to start again with a new horse...

Gloss trotted over to the horses, horrified at the fight. He stodd on the sideline, nervous, not wanting to say anything but not wanting ti go away alone, like he normally was.

Dew screamed and raced after the two. He squeeled when he saw were they were headed.
Sun watched wide eyed.
Maralyn whinnied and half reared.

Lilly galloped closer and closer to the cliff. Close enough to jump she collected her stride, and prepared to jump. Using her back legs she propelled forward, free falling down, and down. She hit the water and went under. The current washed her down the river until she was close enough to a river bank to climb out. Zanzibar stopped inches from the cliff with a small rear. She's dead he thought with a nasty grin. turning around he trotted away from the cliff.

Dew slid to a halt at the cliff edge, he screamed louly before lurching himself over. He seemed to fall for ages before he meet the water heavily. He wen't under. A minute later he surfaced and coughed out water before turning to looke for Lilly.

Lilly got out of the water, where Zanzibar wouldn't see her. She shook her whole body, removing some water from her golden coat. Then, she saw Dew, with a small rear she tried to catch his attention. Hoping he'd see her.
