After Midnight Sun comes Morning Dew

Morning Dew looked at the mare, 'Hello, I'm Morning Dew.' He introduced himself bowing. he then looked to were Lilly raised her head towards.

Lilly neighed loudly, ears pricked. "Run" She said to the stallions. Lilly galloped up the hill to where she heard the noice. There, were 3 humans, riding stocky horses. Lilly neighed and reared.

Dancer jumped in front of Lilly. He snorted and reared at the humans, scaring their horses. They scattered in different directions.
(Sorry havent been on lately)

Lilly shook her head. "Not going to work" she said. Lilly neighed and reared then galloped inbetween the humans and horses. She picked up the pace and was happy when they started to follow. Lilly neighed and bucked.

Dancer shot after Lilly. He ran and charged down a roan gelding, making is skid and almost fall. he looked over at lilly.

Lilly neighed and galloped off. then she thought, time to knock them off their feet. Lilly hit the brakes and let the ropes go over her neck.

Dancer ran over to Lilly.
'You ok?'

Lilly neighed, a warning. She smiled to herself. They humans went to walk off, pulling her behind. Lilly neighed, reared and galloped inbetween them, the ropes going under their seat, knocking them off. Lilly reared, bucked, neighed and kicked the the ropes snapped.

Dancer had watched all this with anguish.
Why did they want Lilly? They had no need for her. She looked like she had escaped now though.

Lilly reared and bared her teeth, then she took off again. Galloping back to where she left the Dew and Sun.

Morning Dew screamed and reared, he thrashed the air with his front legs, his powerfull back legs thrust into the erth and he surged forward after Lilly and was stopped short by a rope tugging him back. He screamed in agony as the rope cut into his flesh and he was thrust backwards. He fell on his back and screamed in agony. When he got to his feet he charged at the bay gelding and his male rider and collided with them with an incredible crack, the bay fell to the ground then rose to gallop away, his rider, foot stuck in stirrup, was dragged across the rocky terrian. Dew stood fast and the rope cut in more then the girth snapped and the saddle fell to the ground. Dew tore off in the opposite direction and the rope snapped, the loop still in his flesh.

Sun screamed and ran over the rider, he then tore off and chased another rider on a grey mare.

Lilly reared and galloped up to Dew. "Stay still" She said pulling the rope over his head. 5 ropes hung limp from her neck. she lowed her head and shook them off. Her nostrils flared. "Stupid people" She said. "Where is Sun" Lilly looked around.

Dancer was shocked. These humans just didnt give up!

He ran at them, trampiling the human on the ground, then reared at the other horses, landing on the roan, The bay was running wild without the saddle; nothing was wrong with that one.

Lilly thought. "Run" She said. She reared and galloped off. She extended her stride and picked up more speed.

Teardrop bucked and jumped away from a rider. Dancing gracefully away from the rope before she
galloped some meters away, only to have to jump to her left when another rope was aimed for her.

Lilly neighed for the rest to follow. She knew the valley well. Extending her stride again she powered a head.

Teardrop flattend her ears and jumped away again. She snapped after an rider who came to close
before galloping some more meters away from them. Stopping to look behind her.

Dew hung his head as blood dripped down his face, into his eyes and mouth. He snorted and screamed, coughing up blood, as another rider threw a lasso that slipped, finding no hold on his ears. He cantered weakly to the middle of the field. He reared in the middle looking around.

Sun spun his head around and smashed into a gelding that was advancing on Dancer.

Lilly scream a neigh of anger. She galloped over to the person who had roped Dew. She reared over him and her hoofs knocked him off, hitting him across the face. He landed face down and rolled over, blood covered his face and neck. Lilly flatted her ears back and reared over him, she came down just missing his bdy as her rolled away. She neighed and bit him, then turned and galloped off, it was over, at last. She cantered up to Dew. Her chest expanding and collapsing just a quick. She snorted, her ears pricked and eyes looking for the others.

Dancer galloped ove to Lilly and Dew.
Sun looked fine, and so did Lilly and Teardrop, but Dew looked badly hurt.

Nuzzling him softly, Dancer looked at Lilly. She always seemed to know what was up.

'What do we do?' Dancer asked, loking at the humans retreating on their horses, one of them lying motionless on the ground. 'How nice of them to leave him behind,' he thought sarcastically.

Lilly snorted "Stupid human" She didn't look.

Dew looked unconscious. Dancer glanced over at Sun.

'What do we do? Can we do anything for him?' Dew didn't look like he was ok, but looks were often deceiving.

Lilly snorted. "Dew?" She asked

Dew looked around groggily and coughed, he shook his head and took an uneasy step back.
Sun looked at his twin, he felt a hot burning and choking preasure on his neck, he also felt dehidrated. 'Water.' He said simply and lead Dew to the stream, blood flowed from his mouth as Dew drank and ran with the current down the stream.
